![]()
Do you feel anxious, depressed or low? Or perhaps you are concerned about phobias, stress, compulsive disorders or post traumatic stress?
If yes, you may benefit from some quick and simple help.
Primary Care Psychological Therapies Services (talking therapies) are provided across west Kent in the following areas:
- Dartford
- Gravesend
- Maidstone
- Sevenoaks
- Swanley
- Tonbridge and Malling
- Tunbridge Wells
Talking therapies can help address many problems including the following:
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Panic disorders
- Social phobias.
The Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service can offer a choice of therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy for a brief period when someone first starts to experience a mental health problem. It is hoped that this will avoid or limit the need for medication, time off work or unemployment.
Therapy is available through the computer (computerised cognitive behavioural therapy also known as CCBT), over the phone, in group sessions or face to face, in GP surgeries or in local centres.
