Let's go mental for mental health!
06 June 2011

Let's Go Mental for Mental Health is a gig night organised to raise awareness of psychosis in young people and is taking place in Chatham on 10 June.

The night has been organised by Alicia Neville (who has received treatment from the Early Intervention in Psychosis service) to promote awareness of psychosis and mental illness through live music and information. Some of the bands performing on the night include:

  • Stangely Vague
  • Damsel
  • Joe Cottiss

There will also be information provided by the Early Intervention for Psychosis Service, which provides assessment, treatment and support for young people, aged 14 to 35 years, in the early stages of a psychotic illness. By acting early you can make a big difference. Like any other illness, the chances of making a full and speedy recovery are much better if help is sought early.

Information from Mental Health Charities will also be available on the night.

The gig will take place at:

Poco Loco
60 High Street
Chatham
Kent ME4 4DS.

Doors open at 7.00pm until 2.00am and entry is free so why not come along?
