Angela McNab
New KMPT Chief Executive Appointed

Trust Chairman, Andrew Ling, has today annouced that Angela McNab has been appointed as the new KMPT Chief Executive.

Following a rigorous selection process, which included staff, service users and carers and external stakeholders, Angela McNab has accepted the position and will join the Trust on 1 April 2012.

Angela has an excellent career history and wealth of experience which includes roles as Chief Executive of Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, Director of Public Health – Delivery and Performance at Department of Health, Director of Healthcare at the Ministry of Defence and most recently as Chief Executive of NHS Luton and NHS Bedfordshire. Angela’s experience, leadership skills and ability to think strategically will help the Trust to meet itsobjectives.

We are looking forward to welcoming Angela to the Trust.  In the meantime, Bob Deans will continue in his role as Interim Chief Executive.  In recent months he has made a real difference to the work to drive up quality, deliver our financial duties and to ultimately improve patient experience.

We will shortly be appointing an Executive Director of Finance and Resources and Angela has been involved in the recruitment process over the past few days.
