The Service offers a range of brief interventions for common mental health difficulties, including:

Stress, anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, depression, phobias, trauma / PTSD, OCD, anger management, difficulties linked with long-term medical conditions, or medically unexplained symptoms, and anxiety or depression complicated by bereavement.

If you need support for other difficulties, such as; addiction, eating disorders or relationship difficulties - please speak to your GP about other services offering appropriate support.

The Service is provided free of charge, and anyone over the age of 18, who is registered with a GP in Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley or the surrounding areas, can use this page to access the Service.

Please also note that we are not an urgent service, and cannot respond in an emergency. Please see your GP, or attend your local A and E department in a crisis or if you require immediate support.

After we have received your referral we will schedule a telephone conversation, referred to as a Telephone Assessment, and confirm this by post. This Telephone Assessment is designed to gain a better understanding of your current difficulties, and discuss how we may be able to help.
