Trust Wide Patient and Carer Experience Group

This trust-wide strategic group provides an assurance that all aspects relating to patient-centred care are fulfilled. It ensures there are clear lines of accountability and channels of communication between this group and care group governance arrangements. Service users and carers are represented during that meeting.

It ensures the patient experience is encompassed and embedded across Kent and Medway, providing a quality framework to demonstrate that we:

  • Provide equitable, responsive needs-met services that are available across the trust
  • Maintain and improve effective partnerships with service users and carers
  • Provide care in environments that promote patient recovery and self-directed support
  • Hold each other to account
