Little Brook Hospital - Dartford

A number of activities are taking place to celebrate World Mental Health Day, including:

  • Open occupational therapy sessions throughout the day for patients.
  • A time capsule is being buried at 1pm.
  • A buffet and disco for patients is being held at 6pm.
  • Fundraising will take place throughout the day using an exercise bike. This is to promote the day and raise funds for fitness equipment to be used in conjunction and to promote use of outdoor spaces during occupational therapy activities.

Local organisations are invited to run stalls to inform students and staff about their services and how they either support or raise awareness around Mental Health. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a successful event for the second year running where there are various activities taking place throughout the day.
