About us

One in four people with be affected by mental ill health.

We provide mental health, disability and specialist service to a population of more than 1.8 million people across Kent and Medway, with specialist services available in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. 

We employ over 3,500 staff and work Kent County Council and Medway Council social care services.

We were rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission and 'Outstanding' for caring. 

We have 66 buildings across 33 sites.

We are committed to achieving financial sustainability though achieving breakeven and not spending more than we have; and focusing on quality and ensuring that we are as efficient as we can be.

  • Planned annual income £210 million (£200m income from activities, £10m from other operating income)
  • £14.7 million invested in out buildings, estate and digital infrastructure 2020/21
  • 2020/21 reduced waste and inefficiency delivering £4.9 million of cost improvement plans
  • 2020/21 expected position is breakeven.
