Cruse Bereavement Counselling
Cruse offers support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and works to enhance society’s care of bereaved people.
They offer face-to-face, telephone, email and website support.
Services are provided by a network of 5,000 trained volunteers and are confidential and free.
How can they help:
For parents
Information for parents and carers about how children and young people are affected by grief, how you can support them and when to seek help.
For military families
Military life is different from life in 'civvy street' and Cruse understands that.
For schools
For personnel working in schools and colleges, particularly headteachers, pastoral staff, tutors and other members of senior management teams.
Projects
Cruse runs a number of specialist projects, which help bereaved people in different circumstances.
Traumatic bereavement
Information for those affected by natural disasters, terrorist attack, suicide and other traumatic losses.
