E-connect

E-connect is the Trust’s monthly digital newsletter that will help to inform you about how we are working to improve and shape your local mental health services across the county. Each month we’ll share our top stories, any changes to our services as well as events or any consultations taking place.

Volunteer Voices

With over 300 active volunteers at KMPT, our team of community volunteers are at the heart of all of our services. From drivers to befrienders through to our ‘pawsome’ Pets As Therapy dogs, you’ll hear about the fabulous work they do each day on behalf of the Trust and how you too could get  involved and help continue to support  our mental health services.

Let me tell you about my ability

The West Kent Mental Health of Learning Disability (MHLD) team have been working in partnership with a local day service during lockdown and the talented service users have worked hard to produce a variety of pieces of creative writing and art work. The purpose of the project is to inform and educate members of the community about learning disabilities and dispel myths that often lead to misinformation and inequality. The second element is offer insight from those with lived experience, offering an alternative narrative of strength and resilience. The pieces that have been created are incredibly powerful and we are so thankful to everyone who has taken part in this extraordinary piece of work. Sign up here
