The aim of the conference is to provide a high quality CPD event for staff, primary care providers and key healthcare stakeholders in Kent. The conference programme will follow four themes that are relevant for providing excellent mental healthcare to our local population.
The leadership theme will bring together academics, senior managers, and healthcare leaders to talk about leaders’ journeys, leadership in professions, system leadership, leadership in quality of clinical services delivery and service evaluation methods.
The suicide prevention theme will bring together academics, public health experts, and clinicians to talk about suicide prevention work in Kent, suicide prevention work amongst university students, and suicide prevention work led by KMPT.
The clinical services theme will offer two very interesting sub-streams a) acute mental health Care b) specialist mental health services in Kent. These two sub-streams will run in parallel with the sub-stream of c) research, staff development and training at KMPT

Call for Posters
Abstracts are invited on both scientific and clinical research, and research that presents examples of good practice, service improvement, and innovative projects.
Maximum 500 words permitted.Posters will be presented and judged on the day of the conference.
Lead authors will be expected to attend the conference
