Jasmine Ward
Jasmine ward is a 16 bed acute assessment unit providing mental health care for older adults with acute functional or organic mental health needs.
Our aim is to deliver evidence based nursing care ensuring people are treated with kindness, dignity and respect by providing a caring, responsive, effective, well led and safe environment.
The team consist of a consultant psychiatrist, nurses, occupational therapists and assistants, health care workers, psychologists and other external services who attend the ward when requested.
Visits from under 18’s
We are currently unable to accommodate under 18's visiting.
Items not allowed on the ward:
If you are bringing in any items, for safety reasons please let staff know.
To support the safety of your loved one and other patients we ask you not to bring in the following items:
- cameras
- glass items
- razors
- lighters and matches
- alcohol
- illegal / prescription / over the counter drugs
- caffeinated / energy drinks
- scented products
- inhalable products
- belts
- drawstrings and laces
- bags with shoulder straps
- electrical flexes and power cables
Further information
We are located behind Darent Valley hospital next to the Kings dialysis unit. Please note there are very limited disabled spaces at Jasmine Ward and we do advise visitors to park within the main DVH car parks.
