Perinatal simulation training

This one day training event consists of simulated scenarios which focus on the assessment and management of three different perinatal mental health presentations. After each simulation, the participants will be debriefed so they are able to learn positively and constructively from the experience.

Participants will be able to experience the various challenges faced when seeing women in different environments, as well as working with various professionals to further their understanding of such challenges, giving them the confidence to be able to deal with them in the future.

All training will take place from 9am-4:30pm at The Simulation Suite, Postgraduate Centre, Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham ME7 5NY.
