Quality Strategy

Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust has committed to providing high quality mental health care, delivered by our staff. We believe our service must provide a positive experience, be safe, effective, minimise waste and build upon the standards set by CQC and other regulators we are accountable to.

This strategy sets out how we will drive up quality improvement activity in KMPT and actions we will take to ensure it encompasses all areas of trust activity, demonstrates we are a listening and learning organisation, empowering our staff to drive improvement (as they increasingly select areas for quality improvement) and re-balancing quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement working with patients and carers who are at the heart of what we do.
