The Care Quality Commission (CQC) conducted a planned inspection of our services in March 2015. The report on this inspection was published on 30 July 2015 on the CQC's website. The individual ratings for our services are available to view on the CQC website.
In response to the report, our Chief Executive, Angela McNab, says:
“The CQC’s report is based upon a thorough, independent assessment of what we do, informed by the people who use our services, our staff and organisations we work with. It provides us with really important feedback that we must use to continue improving the services we provide to patients.
“The CQC highlights services where the level of caring is outstanding and where staff are compassionate, kind and motivated to go the extra mile for the people they serve.
“We fully accept that we need to make sure we are consistent in the delivery of operational standards. Action has already started as a result of the report and we are focusing on developing and increasing peer learning as some services were seen to meet operational standards to an excellent level.
“We will continue to work closely with the CQC and our stakeholders and agree solutions to the issues identified, which will be built into an overall action plan looking at what can be done immediately, what can be done within six months and what will take a little longer to resolve. We are committed and determined to provide outstanding services for our patients.”
